2019-04-16 [Event] International Sharing Day

Last semester, we had an international volunteer --- Mariela coming to Dong Guang.

She shared lots of things of her country, Costa Rica with us.

We also had two international students from Vietnam and Germany

who introduce thier coutry by playing games with us.

 

This semster, we're planing to invite two students' mom to school.

One of them is from Philippines. And the other one is from South Africa. 

 

We're planning to ask them

to introduce thier countries a bit and share some culture shocks when they moved to Taiwan.

2018-10-15 [Event] Halloween Event: Bobble for Apples

[activities]

Since last year we played TRICK OR TREAT, this year we don't do it again.

Let's play BOBBLE FOR APPLES.

FYI Apple bobble is one of the most traditional Halloween games.

What we need for this game?

a.) apples, duh

b.) bucket or any containers which can be filled of water

c.) towel

d.) goggle glasses (optional)

 

How to play this game?

Put apples in the water-filled bucket.

Then, placeing your head in the bucket and try to use your mouth to catch the apples.

Only using mouth, no hands.

2018-10-01 [Event] Piñata for National Day of Taiwan

[activities]

Main purpose is to Introduce Piñata to students.

Also celebrating National Day of Taiwan.

 

Piñata usually is made of paper, and filled with candies, cookies or small toy.

Crushing the Piñata is some kinds of celebration.

Originally, people play it in Mexico. But was brought to North America.

週四晨間口語練習

負責年級:一、二、三、五年級學生

(四、六年級由 Shopia 老師負責)

每週一教師晨會時間,將當周排定練習口語對話的內容交給導師
請導師發放給該班級學生,並利用時間提前練習。

(三、五年級,由於週一有課,會於上課時間直接交待給學生。)

[Grade 1] 

08:05-08:15 Having oral practice with students one by one.

 

[Grade 2]

08:15-08:30 

Two students pair up and practice together.

I'm gonna listen to their practice and give some advices.

After 10 minutes, ask for volunteers to do a presentation in front of the whole class.

(Or ask for students who didn't take oral practice seriously.)

If they do it well, they can get a stamp. If they don't, they need to practice more.

 

[Grade 3]

08:00-08:30

2018-09-07 Here comes AIESEC Volunteer!

本學期學校邀請到 AIESEC 國際志工 Mariela 來到本校

來自 Costa Rica 的她,

將入班介紹她們國家、歷史、飲食、節慶、生態等文化。

規劃低、中、高年級,各有不同的學習單。

 

1 & 2 Grade: Color your own wheel.

Introduce one of the symbol of Costa Rica --- Oxcart.

People used to use it while pulling agricultural products, like coffee beans.

Nowadays, people draw it in a colorful way to show their spirit and pride.

 

3 Grade: What are the differences?

Introduce traditional Christmas dish in Costa Rica --- Tamales.

It looks like Chinese traditional dish, Zong-zi.

So what are the differences between these two tradiotanl food?

 

5 Grade:

Introduce one of the symbols of Costa Rica's Independent Day --- Torch.

People make their own torches to attend the lantern parade before the Independent day.

Let's design our lanterns torch!
