Happy Double Ten Day

Today is Double Ten Day! Everyone has the day off! It's a national holiday in
Taiwan!
今天是雙十節! 全台灣的人都不用上班上課，一起慶祝國慶日 !

Double Ten Day is for all the people of Taiwan. This year's slogan is "A
Beautiful Taiwan Today, A Better Taiwan Tomorrow."
雙十節是所有人的節慶，今年的中文標語是「中華民國生日快樂。」

The country has been getting ready for more than a month!
台灣為國慶日已經準備超過一個月!

There's a new logo! Taiwan's flower is between two tens. The tens are written
in Chinese. The flower is a plum blossom!
今年也設計了全新的標誌，在兩個中文的十字中間，有一朵我們的國花梅花。

There are new souvenirs: baseball caps, towels, cups, and more! The logo and
the souvenirs are red, blue, and white. These are the colors of Taiwan's
flag!
還有全新紀念品，像是棒球帽、毛巾、杯子，都是紅、藍、白三個顏色的，跟我們的國旗一樣!

Last Saturday, a big party at Taipei Arena started the celebrations. And
now... Double Ten Day is here!
上個星期六，台北大巨蛋辦了一場派對，開始倒數國慶日，現在終於到囉!

There's a lot to see and do. Watch the exciting parade! It's in front of the
president's office! Look up at cool planes and helicopters! Wave at them!
Watch 30,000 fireworks in Yunlin County!
國慶日可以去看總統府前的閱兵儀式，還有直升機跟飛機。雲林縣政府則會放 3
萬發煙火慶祝!
